1. Identify the application
for the glass. Please read
the information on glass
protector tops and glass
table tops so you know
the difference. Other common
applications for glass are
glass for windows, glass
railings, glass partitions
or walls, glass for soundproofing
and glass for technical
applications.
2. Know the exact size
of the glass you need in
inches and fractions as
small as 1/16. Please make
any deductions necessary
(for example, if you don’t
want the glass to go all
the way to the edge of the
table) before ordering as
the glass size ordered will
be the glass size cut.
3. Know the thickness you
need. Use the descriptions
for glass protector tops
and glass table tops to
help you decide the thickness.
4. Know the edge work needed.
Use the Glass
Edge link and the descriptions
for glass protector tops
and glass table tops to
help you decide on the edge
work. Do not confuse the
edge with the corners. The
corners on all custom cut
glass will have dulled 90
degree angles unless advised
otherwise.
If you are comfortable
deciding these things for
yourself, check out our
Price Lists for typical
glass products or use the
form on the Quotes
page or call (800)55-GLASS
for a quote. 55 Glass will
do special pattern work,
however, you must provide
an exact cut-out of the
pattern in order for us
to fabricate special shapes.
If this is not possible
ask us to refer a glass
installer. Thank you for
giving us the opportunity
to be your glass supplier.
The prices quoted are for
will call (glass pick up)
and do not include 9.75%
sales tax.
Our only location is:
