1. Identify the application for the glass. Some of the most common applications for glass are glass protector tops, glass table tops, windows, glass railings, glass partitions or walls, glass for soundproofing and glass for technical applications. 2. Know the size of the glass, the thickness of the glass and the edge work needed on the glass edges. Use the Glass Edge link and the descriptions for glass protector tops and glass table tops to help you decide on the edge work and the thickness you need.
